Welcoming International Students to the Aydin Group
One of the key missions of universities — especially long-established institutions like LMU Munich — is to educate young researchers and prepare them for the deployment of next-generation photovoltaic technologies, while also conducting cutting-edge research. In line with this, the Aydin Group opens its advanced research environment to international students, giving them the opportunity to develop individually and contribute as key members of ongoing projects.
We are delighted to welcome Noah Straughan from the University of Glasgow and Brooke Spraggon from Newcastle University, who have recently joined our team for a period of 6+ months.
-
Noah Straughan is an undergraduate student pursuing an integrated master’s degree in Materials Chemistry at the University of Glasgow. He is passionate about energy conversion and storage, and has previous experience working on anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
-
Brooke Spraggon is completing an integrated bachelor’s and master’s degree in Chemistry at Newcastle University, UK. She is currently in her third year as an exchange student with the Aydin Group at LMU Munich.
We warmly welcome Noah and Brooke to our team and look forward to their contributions to our ongoing research in photovoltaics.
