March 30, 2025

Several members of the Aydin Group attended the E-Connect event at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where they showcased their ongoing research projects.

The E-Connect event fosters collaboration between research groups within the e-conversion network at TUM and Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (LMU), as well as industry partners. It provides a platform to explore potential synergies and initiate new collaborations between academia and industry.

During the event, PhD student Hao Zhu presented his research on the use of perovskite-based tandem solar cells for space applications, while PhD student Jian Huang shared insights into his work on high-efficiency perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells for terrestrial applications.

Their contributions highlighted the innovative research being conducted within the Aydin Group and reinforced the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in advancing solar energy technologies.
