Aydin Group Deepens Engagement with Solar Sector Experts at Intersolar 2024 in Munich

Intersolar Munich 2024, a premier event in the solar energy industry, showcased groundbreaking advancements in solar technology. Dr. Aydin, our principal investigator, was among the esteemed attendees who engaged with industry experts and unveiled exciting developments in the perovskite tandem solar cells field.

During the event, notable companies made significant announcements. Oxford PV revealed their latest achievement of 26.6% tandem modules, pushing the boundaries of efficiency. Longi impressed the audience with their announcement of 30.1% perovskite/silicon monolithic tandems on M6 scale industrial wafers, highlighting their commitment to next-generation solar solutions.

GCL also made waves with their demonstrations, showcasing 26.36% mechanically stacked tandem modules and 19.04% perovskite modules. These advancements underscore the rapid progress and immense potential of perovskite-based technologies in revolutionizing the solar energy landscape.

Dr. Aydin expressed optimism about the future of perovskite-based technologies, stating, "We expect that Intersolar Europe will witness increased occupancy with perovskite-based technologies in the upcoming years."
