Dr. Erkan Aydin Delivered an Invited Talk at the 4th Perovskite Workshop Baden-Württemberg where industry and academy experts meet

Dr. Erkan Aydin delivered an invited talk at the 4th Perovskite Workshop Baden-Württemberg, hosted by ZSW (Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg) in Stuttgart, where leading experts from industry and academia came together to discuss recent advances in perovskite research and technology.

The workshop was organized by a distinguished scientific committee consisting of:

• Prof. Dr. Michael Powalla, ZSW

• Prof. Dr. Michael Saliba, University of Stuttgart (ipv)

• TT.-Prof. Dr. Ulrich Paetzold, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (LTI and IMT)

• Prof. Dr. Stefan Glunz, Fraunhofer ISE

Perovskite solar cells continue to be one of the most dynamic and rapidly developing research areas worldwide — and the southwest of Germany, in particular, plays a key role in shaping this landscape. The workshop provided a platform for researchers, developers, and industry representatives to exchange ideas, present ongoing projects, and explore collaboration opportunities to strengthen the local photovoltaic (PV) ecosystem.

As a representative of LMU Munich, Dr. Aydin emphasized the importance of cross-regional collaboration between Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, both of which host internationally recognized PV research institutes.

The event successfully fostered dialogue between academia and industry, and Dr. Aydin looks forward to reconnecting with the perovskite research community in future editions of this workshop.
