Aydin Group expands collaborations with Germany's leading PV institutes: Dr. Aydin visits Forschungszentrum Jülich

January 13, 2025

Forschungszentrum Jülich stands as one of Germany's premier PV research institutes, celebrated for its contributions to materials science, tandem solar cells, and scalable manufacturing technologies. Alongside Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB), Fraunhofer ISE, the Institute for Photovoltaics (IPV) Stuttgart, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), it plays a pivotal role in advancing next-generation photovoltaic innovations.

Dr. Aydin recently visited Forschungszentrum Jülich, delivering a talk titled "Perovskite-Silicon Tandem Solar Cells: Navigating the Efficiency, Stability, and Cost Triangle" to an audience of over 40 researchers from the institute. The visit included round desk discussions on potential collaborations aimed at advancing multijunction solar cells. Positioned uniquely as one of Germany's few university-based research groups, the Aydin Group seeks to deepen collaborations with these leading institutes to drive advanced solar energy research. Special thanks to Dr. Kaining Ding for the invitation.
