Dr. Aydin speaks at URCUP Conference on molecular engineering's role in perovskite tandem PVs
October 12, 2024
Dr. Erkan Aydin participated in the 11th Undergraduate Research Conference on Molecular Sciences (URCUP), held from October 12-13, 2024, at Kloster Irsee, Germany. Organized by the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy at LMU Munich, this conference aims to foster engagement between graduate and undergraduate students, while introducing newly appointed faculty members to the department. The event includes a variety of plenary lectures, poster sessions, and networking opportunities, all in a unique, historic setting.
During the event, Dr. Aydin delivered a presentation on "Perovskite Solar Cells: The Role of Molecular Engineering," highlighting the critical influence of interfacial and bulk molecular modifications on the performance and stability of perovskite solar cells. Joining Dr. Aydin was his PhD student, Jian Huang, who also contributed to the research discussions.
The event, now in its 11th edition, continues to serve as a vital platform for students and faculty to exchange research insights, foster collaborations, and explore emerging trends in molecular sciences.
