Biography
Dr. Boxue Zhang obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from PSL University, France, in 2025. During his doctoral studies, his research focused on perovskite solar cells, particularly the development of stable perovskite compositions and the optimization of device performance through machine learning and high-throughput experimentation.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in the research group of Prof. Somin Park, where he works on next-generation perovskite photovoltaics. His current research focuses on perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells and perovskite optoelectronics, with particular emphasis on scalable fabrication, interface engineering, and long-term operational stability for practical photovoltaic applications.
Dr. Zhang is visiting the Aydin Research Group at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich during the summer for an exchange, fostering collaboration on high-efficiency and stable perovskite-based tandem solar cells.
